Yesterday we gave you the latest statistic for housing prices in the Greater Victoria Real Estate Area. Let’s have a look at this in more detail.

As you may know Victoria has 13 municipalities and the prices vary from the different areas. Vic West which is actually part of the Municipality of Victoria had the lowest average price for houses at $456,000 and Oak Bay the highest at $972,000 (this is not comparing the municipality of Sooke, since it is about 40 minutes out of town).

If you look at condominiums, Oak Bay had the highest at $413,000 with Vic West close behind at $410, 933. The lowest was Saanich West at $258,920 (Sooke excluded)

If we look at town houses Esquimalt had the lowest average at $237,600 and Colwood being the highest at $742,604.

The average for water front homes are 1,926,700.For more details just check out the Monthly Sales Summary.
